Big Data Growth in India to Outpace Other Nations

Ayushman Baruah from Information Week India writes that storage vendors are innovating to help the nation’s data center managers cope with Big Data and the information explosion.

As per an IDC study, India will grow twice as fast in data creation as the rest of the world in this decade, though the staff managing this data would only grow by about 1 percent. This is a clear indication of the need to automate data centers. Apart from automation, the concept of co-hosting or co-locating the data centers to external providers as a part of their IT requirements is a trend fast picking up.
