Our friends over at Zend, the PHP company, have unveiled the results of their annual Developer Pulse Survey, which highlights developers’ experience with and perception of application development and continuous delivery practices. The full survey results infographic appears below.

The findings of the 2014 Developer Pulse Survey consisting of the opinions of 4794 developers include the following:

  • 42% of developers prefer a cup of coffee when facing late night coding…
  • 48% of developers are focused on mobile application development
  • Over 95% encounter problems when deploying new code intro production
  • 66% deploy code at least once a week
  • Over 90% are developing or intend to develop APIs
  • Over 80% are also developing their own customer PHP application
