TiE as an organization is non-profit, and was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, and features more than 60 chapters in 17 different countries. TiEcon is an upcoming conference for entrepreneurs taking place in Santa Clara this weekend (tomorrow/saturday), created by TiE (a global entrepreneurship organization). The event this year (21st consecutive year) is going to feature several tracks/topics including Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud, Healthcare, Investing and Energy.
