A recent survey from Aberdeen Research, licensed by Alteryx shows how big data blending technology is essential to helping a company become a leader in the mid-market – data blending helps the mid-market outsmart rather than outspend.

Data blending is a concept that’s gaining steam among analytic tool providers because it provides a relatively quick and straightforward way to extract value from multiple data sources and find patterns between them without the time and expense of traditional datawarehouse processes.

According to the Aberdeen Research survey, mid-market leaders:

  • Are 3.6x as likely to deploy data blending tools, when compared with lower-tier companies
  • Have 52% more users with an improved speed of decision making
  • Have 35% more users per capita with improved trust of the data used in their analysis
