Impetus_Technologies_LogoImpetus Technologies, a big data thought leader, software, services and solutions company, announced plans to hire 150 big data architects, senior developers and data scientists to support the rapid growth of its business. In 2015, the company grew its big data business by 125 percent and expects to more than double it again in 2016. This is based on the growing demand for its big data services, StreamAnalytix software product, Data Warehouse Workload Migration solutions, and other products and services slated to be announced throughout the year.

An award-winning company, Impetus Technologies has been recognized for four consecutive years as a “Best Company To Work For” by The Great Place to Work Institute and also as a “Dream Company to Work For” by the World HRD Congress. The company’s global operations have been involved in a multi-year, multimillion-dollar transformation that has resulted in highly self-empowered employee teams that work with leading Fortune 1000 clients to help them truly deliver on the promise that big data represents.

Large enterprises today are all engaged in some level of modernization to leverage and process information at massive scale from real-time and unstructured data sources,” said Impetus CEO Praveen Kankariya. “Our expert big data consulting, proven methodologies and automation tools are in high demand. We help our clients reduce their infrastructure cost and then use the savings to fund the implementation of high-return advanced analytical applications. Our strategic hiring will allow us to continue delivering this level of phenomenal value for our large enterprise clients.”

Impetus Technologies provides services and solutions for envisioning, architecting, implementing and supporting end-to-end big data solutions. In addition, Impetus Technologies has introduced software products like StreamAnalytix – a platform for developing real-time streaming data analytics applications. The company also offers a powerful suite of tools which automate the effort associated with the migration of enterprise data warehouse workloads running in IBM (DB2 and Netezza), Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and Teradata to a Hadoop-based big data warehouse.

I have worked with Impetus as a strategic partner at three different companies,” said Ron Rasmussen, CTO and senior vice president of engineering at Xactly, a leading SaaS service provider. “They consistently provide a breadth and level of advanced technology expertise that complements my in-house team. Because of this, I actually seek them out to help with some of my most challenging assignments.”

In addition to hiring big data technology professionals, Impetus Technologies plans to expand its U.S. sales, marketing and account management teams. To explore all current career opportunities at the company, please visit: www.impetus.com/careers.
