Huge Scale Of Potential Savings In Industrial Internet Of Things

Accenture estimates the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) could add $14.2 trillion to the global economy by 2030. Arguably the biggest driver of productivity and growth in the next decade, the Industrial Internet of Things will accelerate the reinvention of sectors that account for almost two-thirds of world output. The Internet has become commonplace for most people within their daily lives. However, when you ask someone what they think of when they hear the word “Internet”, it is likely that they think primarily of their computers and tablets. The Internet of Things, however, is much more than just computers, and it is poised to change everything.

  1. This is an awesome infographic. 73% is a high number of companies that haven’t planned for the industrial internet of things. Resisting it is only going to backfire in the long term.
