Qubole, the big data-as-a-service company, announced the launch of its Cloudera Migration Program to help enterprises expand their use of big data by gaining the advantages of the cloud. As part of the program, Qubole has partnered with active data replication leader WANdisco (LSE:WAND) to create a seamless transition for customers migrating data and analytics to the cloud.

The Cloudera Migration Program is a packaged solution including the following components:
- Qubole Data Platform on AWS to run data processing workloads on Hadoop, Spark, Presto or HBase;
- WANdisco Fusion to enable active data replication from on-premise to AWS S3. This can done one-time or continuously for a hybrid deployment model;
- Professional services for scoping, planning, design and migration of on-premise Cloudera deployments
Migrating to cloud without downtime and business disruption is a key challenge for most companies.
