A new report from HPE focuses on how tech tools like GPUs and deep learning platforms are changing and advancing the healthcare industry. Recent advancements in AI technology have made it hard to ignore its potential to make health care professionals lives easier, as well as advance medicine.
Just imagine the amount of data that health professionals have to review manually before they diagnose or treat a patient. Today, HPC computing and massive parallelization are enabling doctors to derive meaning from all this data much more quickly and efficiently.
This explosion of computing power is helping healthcare professionals to “diagnose patients faster and more accurately, develop innovative new drugs and treatments, reduce medical and diagnostic errors, predict adverse reactions, and lower the costs of healthcare delivery for both providers and patients,” according to the report.

As part of their enhanced collaboration with NVIDIA, the HPE Apollo 6500 now includes interactive rendering from the data center with NVIDIA Tesla GPUs.
