StradVision is an industry pioneer in vision processing technology, whose work will provide the software that allows Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in Autonomous Vehicles to reach the next level of safety, accuracy and driver convenience, and help usher in the era of the fully autonomous vehicle.

StradVision’s image recognition technology is already being deployed to 9 million vehicles globally in partnership with five of the world’s top auto OEMs. The company works hand in glove with globally acclaimed companies such as NVIDIA, BlackBerry and Socionext, and pushes for AI and human workforce integration via a partnership with Testworks, a unique social enterprise.

Using deep learning on large data sets, StradVision’s flagship software, SVNet, is able to quickly and accurately identify objects, empty spaces, and even potential hazards on the roads – enabling the same Level 2 ADAS features as Tesla’s Autopilot, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Parking Assist.

The ISO 9001:2015-certified software is customized and hardware-optimized with a remarkably lightweight network footprint for OEM and Tier 1 auto manufacturers, all at a drastically reduced price of just $250 per vehicle – far more competitive than other ADAS providers and far less than Tesla. This enables Level 2 autonomy to quickly reach a much larger customer base.

The full suite of ADAS features is perceived to only be commonplace in the luxury vehicle market, but StradVision is working to change that and bring ADAS to every vehicle. With both the US (The Moving Forward Act) and EU (EURO NCAP) contemplating or enacting laws to require ADAS in vehicles by 2024, this market sector is growing at a rapid pace and is becoming the type of widely accessible autonomous technology that most drivers will use long before Level 4 or Level 5 autonomy are deployed.
