The Future Starts Now – Achieving Successful Operation of ML & AI-Driven Applications

Operationalizing AI and ML has become an unavoidable need in business, as various industries heavily rely on large volumes of real-time data as input to automated decision-making processes to yield the best results. Use cases in the data science field have shown that ML models and AI have few tangible business benefits until they are operationalized. In this e-book, our friends over at MemSQL show us how to successfully deploy model-driven applications into production.

Cloud Services Survey Reveals Critical Need for AI-Driven Continuous Optimization

Our friends over at Opsani announced the results of a year-long survey of hundreds of enterprises running cloud services that revealed a critical need for artificial intelligence (AI)-driven, continuous optimization of live applications and their environments. Results showed companies are running a robust continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) tool-set for their applications, but are neglecting the post-release portion of the delivery pipeline—continuous optimization of live cloud apps and their environments—resulting in declining user experiences and soaring cloud costs.

Survey Reveals Widespread Lack of IT Planning for AIOps

A recent survey of IT, business, security and operations executives shows that 76 percent of IT teams have not yet implemented artificial intelligence technologies to improve data center operations, despite the benefits of AIOps for business efficiency. In addition, just over half of survey respondents still have no budgets planned for AIOps projects in the next one to three years. Further, the survey reveals that most IT leaders are still struggling to implement effective strategies for AIOps due to a lack of clarity about their own technology expectations and business objectives.
